Job Description:

We are looking for a web development administrator to be responsible for leading a team of web developers. The responsibilities of a web development administrator include overseeing a project from conception to implementation, designing and developing web architecture, and providing guidance on technical issues.

Duties explanation:

1. Creates Web content, uses Web management tools and digital media tools, and applies humanfactor principles to design and update the current Bank’s website.

2. Producing a design that will be attractive to the target user, has a logical navigation system and has all the features required.

3. Writing web pages in a combination of codes, such as hypertext mark-up language (HTML), JavaScript, , Visual Basic ,Java and Flash, or using code-generating programs, such as Dream weaver and Fireworks.

4. Deciding on how images and other material will be digitally optimized and presented for the web.

5. Ensuring that material on the web site is accessible to all groups.

6. Testing the site for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions.

7. Responds to web designer mail; provides and analyzes traffic statistics and reports.

8. Develops, researches, writes/edits and creates layout for new sections/features.

9. Communicating regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security.

10. Commissioning and installing new applications and customizing existing applications in order to make them fit for purpose.

11. Having experience in data guard and RAC configuration and implementation in linux platform.

12. Must be able to work in linux and windows platform.

13. Collaborating with development teams to program websites and applications.

14. Bring up new ideas for web and application developments for the BMA .

15. Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.

16. Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.

17. Update, repair, modify and develop existing software and generic applications.

18. Document the website installation, configuration, and launching to ensure all the steps are accessible for future reference.

19. Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.

20. Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines.

21. Install the program into production, once testing is complete.

22. Designing and developing front-end and back-end web architecture. 23. Staying up-to-date with industry developments.

24. Develop web application for the digitalization and automation in daily office tasks.

25. Ensure that all the necessary work and project is performed within the allotted time frame.

26. Working closely with IT manager and database programmer.

27. Perform any task or duty which is assigned by the line manager.

 

Job Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications:

 Bachelor or higher degree in computer science or Information Technology, CWP,MCPD,CSDP certifications is plus point.

 Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Website and application development administration.

 Significant experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

 Strong knowledge of Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining

 Strong knowledge of working with Microsoft windows and linux operating systems.

 Extensive experience as a web developer.

 Experience in a managerial position.

 Project management skill.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 Able to offer guidance and support.

 A creative thinker and problem solving skills.

 Great leadership skills with the ability to attract, mentor, and retain junior system administrators.

 Excellent knowledge of web development disciplines.
